主要研究方向:水污染控制与水体修复、活性污泥和生物膜工艺数学模拟与优化、新型膜生物反应器开发、环境微生物学及微生物生态学等方面课题研究。

教学情况
目前主讲全英文课程两门《环境工程微生物学》和《环境分子微生物学》,全校性选修课一门《水环境与水文化》,并连续多年指导环境工程专业本科生毕业设计,教学效果优良,得到学生好评。目前指导研究生7名,其中国际留学生2名。

1. 国家863计划项目“化学-生物絮凝组合技术与设备”2006年12月获得国家环保总局环境保护科学技术奖一等奖(第九完成人)。
2. 2011年4月主持的项目“高效低耗水平流双向供氧生物膜反应器处理村镇污水集成工艺开发与应用”获得中华环保基金会“绿动未来•高校环保科研应用技术项目支持计划”优秀培育项目。
